Instructions

1 Create a new directory on your hard disk (e.g. c \PB9000) and download PB9000.EXE to it.

2 Open a DOS prompt and from the above directory (e.g. c \PB9000) type "PB9000" to expand the driver files

3 From the same directory type "SETUP" to start the installation.

Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (WinMe) is the successor/replacement to Windows 98. WinMe utilizes the same printing system as Windows 98. This allows Lexmark Inkjet printers to use the Microsoft Windows 95/98 printer driver instead of having to develop a special ME driver. This is the same type of operating system upgrade that we saw with Windows 95 to Windows 98.
