This new software upgrade adds HP's ColorSmart II technology to the HP DeskJet printing system. This software is fully compatible and tested with Windows Me, Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows 3.1x. This version 11.0.1 software includes a fix to an installation issue discovered with the version 11.0 software on Windows 98 operating systems (does not affect any other systems). This issue has been observed with the following language versions of the HP DeskJet 690C Series version 11.0 printer driver: Deutsch, Espanol, French, and Italiano.
