FOR CORPORATE USERS. This driver fixes certain problems printing in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 5 and Jasc Paint Shop Pro 6? with a HP DeskJet 840C Series printer. Specifically, when printing from Paint Shop Pro 5 or 6 in Microsoft Windows 95/98 environments, selecting "Landscape" orientation results in the image being shifted slightly to the left instead of rotating to a "Landscape" position. As a result, the "Landscape" document prints to margin widths found in the "Portrait" orientation, a width of 6 inches.
This printer driver supports the HP DeskJet 840C, 842C, and 843C printers.
With this driver:
The toolbox is disabled
There is no installer shell.
There is no bi-directional communication so users will not see status messages.
Shortcuts are not installed on the desktop.
To Install:
Use the Add Printer Wizard to install either a local printer. When you extract this downloaded file, it will create a \enu\ 9xinf directory. Run the Add Printer Wizard, choose "Have Disk", and point to the \enu\Nt4inf directory. Double-click on the hpdj.inf file. Note: \enu is for the English version. Other languages will have a different three letter designator e.g. \fra for French.
