Hewlett Packard (HP) Laserjet 1100a Printer Driver

Hewlett Packard (HP) Laserjet 1100a Driver. After having read about 100 forums and driver guides ive eventually sorted this out.

First you need the original 1100a CD that came with the printer, regardless that its not meant to be win2k.

Install the software (including scanner), restart

Then go to the hp web site and download the latest drivers plus the scanner upgrade and communicaion update.

Install all of them then restart

Try scanning.

If it doesnt work then you need to do this (dont ask why it just works)

Turn off the printer whilst the computer is booting.

Get into windows and then turn it on.

All will be fine.

I recommend if youve been playing with drivers you remove all the old stuff before you do this.
